Accounting & Tax Supervisor
James joined Fuoco Group in 2022 after working several years as a Senior Accountant for a well known New York accounting firm specializing in Real Estate. He is currently a Supervisor in the Hauppauge office in Long Island.
James has over 20 years of experience in real estate accounting with proven ability to conduct and review audits and compilations for diverse real estate entities, including residential rental buildings, co-operatives, condominiums, and not-for-profit housing companies.
Skilled in strategic financial planning, tax projection analysis, and tax return preparation, James is also proficient in utilizing a broad spectrum of software tools for both audit and tax. His analytical nature, understanding of complex entities and genuine concern for his clients’ compliance issues has earned James glowing testimonials from those he serves.
James has completed Specialized Audits of not-for profit residential housing companies and government supervised profit and non-profit residential rental buildings, and cooperatives. Projects included HUD Section 8, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, and HUD 202, bond requirements, and preparation of low-income housing tax credit cost certifications.
