When he graduated from Southeastern University, Jimmy’s goal was to start his own business. A mission trip to Uganda, Africa, to work with several different schools provided the inspiration for what that business would be. Jimmy learned about the desperate need for clean drinking water not only in Uganda but also around the world, and decided to step into the marketplace and provide a product to consumers that would generate profits to give back to non-profits. Hope Water was born with the help of a good friend, money from Jimmy’s savings account, and a bottler Jimmy’s Dad found to help with production. Hope Water insists on top of the line quality, which allows it to compete successfully in the market place. It received 3rd place in the Berkeley Springs International Blind Taste test with nearly 100 entries from around the world! Hope Water now works with 7 different NGO’s, in 10 different countries, and has provided over 60,000 people with clean drinking water.
